The Operation
Griffin Bros. Aviation is a CFI-led flight instruction operation based at Mesa Gateway Airport (KIWA) in Mesa, Arizona. Serving pilots throughout the East Valley — Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, and the greater Phoenix area — Griffin Bros. offers high performance endorsements, crew-style time building, and structured CFI instruction in a purpose-built aircraft.
Brooks and Zane Dillard are brothers, commercial pilots, and certified flight instructors based at KIWA. They built this operation around one aircraft, one standard of instruction, and a simple premise — every hour in the logbook should mean something.
Griffin Bros. is not a flight club. The airplane does not go out without an instructor. Every flight is structured, every student is taken seriously, and the operation runs the same way whether it's a discovery flight out of Mesa Gateway or a cross-country hour-building leg toward ATP minimums.
